Mutantea is Anla Courtis (Reynols), J.Koho (Kulkija, Aan, Vapaa, Keijo & Free Players) and Jani Hirvonen (Uton, Aan, Last Night On Earth) - recorded early 2006 in Helsinki, at the night time, in the middle of darkest winter, after the show in gallery, just before going to sleep. Three electric guitars, with differert effects and styles to play, together in this mass, which gave us this wave called 'Mutantea'. Includes also arts by Bart de Paepe (Sloow Tapes).

"More instrumental goodness dripping inwardly from the Danes, specifically Elektronavn who is Magnus Olsen Majmon, one of my personal favourite CDR-releasing, one-man band, geniuses of the drone, and a fellow who also has a convincing line in subtle electro-acoustic juxtapositions. While I’m still waiting to hear anything that delivers the depth and atmospheric richness of his 2004 CDR Rationale Mystique, this newie SongsofImpermanence (EMPTY SOUNDS REC ESR 008) promises a profound meditation on the great imponderables such as death, futility, loss and despair. Besides playing a ton and a half of reed instruments, strings, percussion and keyboards, Magnus also sings on this short half-hour record - a new side to his accomplishments with which I am yet to familiarise myself. Opening seconds alone were enough to persuade me he’s created a brace of gold-lined azure-enriched canvases in sound, fit to illuminate the darkest corners of these mighty abstractions of human misery that are his chosen themes. Hand-made cover has been produced using a raw, primitive version of the ‘decalcomania’ method, which in the hands of Max Ernst was used to create gigantic forests of post-war, angst-drenched doubt and lip-biting despair. Cones features Marcel Turkowsky and Ulf Schutte both members of Datashock and involved in other projects/labels like Aosuke, Tapetektoniks, UUHUU, Hui Tales Collection, Leo Mars and more. Their "Iceskating Elephants" shows four different cosmic soundtravels taken from their March Recording Sessions. When they are not parading into burlesque musicalia of beautyful underwater storiedrones read in muddy submarines floating to Kurosawa´s spiderwebcastle, they are visiting more concrete places like walking along howling swamps and forestlike playgrounds. And at the end we are still iceskating with Elephants on floating morellas to achieve a new freedom. Their Debut for Ikuisuus. I gave a kiss to a giant leech. It sucked me in. With a little effort, I wriggled to its opposite end and out into a different world, but I can't say how it differed from the one before. Likewise, all the atoms and other bits of matter that pass through us - that we swallow and transform - bear more or less fresh fruit, as they are reborn through us. Boris Morgana's Rotti Frutti is not just an oral delight, it's aimed at the whole organism. It percolates, hisses, comes and goes: gently as well. Furtively it infiltrates the brain through the ears and causes reactions. And maybe these inner oscillations move on to the hands, feet and other organs: maybe they carry the germ of a wholly new fruit. When it comes about, it's too late: everything has changed and one can't but accept it - allow the rotten fruit to issue forth.

Muuttuvat Kasvot is another special project by J.Koho, who is better known by his groups Vapaa, Free Players (also Keijo & The Free Players), Aan (duo with J.Hirvonen / Uton), and Uton (mostly just live shows). His main solo project is called Kulkija, which has released few limited edition cdr's so far and he also appeared in Last Visible Dog's massive 6CD compilation Invisible Pyramid - The Elegy Box.
This Muuttuvat Kasvot cdr is originally released as a small print for Uton tour summer 2006 in Scotland, England, Netherlands, Belgium and France. It's a compilation of different projects by J.Koho, solo recordings, duo or even trio recordings from few years back to the day of first releasing date. 4 track recordings, forest folk drones & small rhythms, navigating from the tiny bushes of earth to sometimes even higher grounds of space atmospheres, still having the own unique sound. Really essential, and too good to be just forgotten as a limited edition. Taste this, dive inside the moment and see!"

sand rattle kins are brothers. one of them, white wizard, and the other a true blue orientalist. together they gorge themselves, freak out, drink milk, and calm down. everything is recorded as marble men. Mouth juggling, forearm bashing, bandjobs. The whole thing. At one point one of them gets on his knees to worship his reflection in wet slate while the other lays down the rhythm with his edward forty hands.

Aosuke's "Pancaked" was recorded live at The Avantgarde Festival, 2007 in Schiphorst, Germany resembling Aosuke's 2 piece pagodas peak with Ulf Schütte on tapes and tech and Tobert Knopp on guitar + electronics.
It displays Aosuke's most sincere attempt at sounding like freshly baked cookies, occuring pregnant women, snoring dogs, a swine and a wireless full sleeve mic presentation from Faust and avant-festivals c.e.o. Jean Hervé.
